Memorial Day Program - National Cemetery of the Alleghenies

Sunday - May 25, 2008 @ 2:00 P. M.

The PGR has been cordially invited to attend the Memorial Day Program on Sunday, May 25th, 2008 at 2 P. M.. A gathering of approx. 500 is expected.

Since opening in August 2005, the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies has interred over 1500 veterans and their dependents. We will be paying triibute to those whom have served and to those whom have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Staging area: Grass area near the cemetery office trailers at 1:15 P.M.  Bring your flag and wear your colors.  Flag line set-up at 1:30 P.M.

I cannot attend this ceremony but my prayers go out to every family and individual who has a loved one buried in the Hallowed Ground of this National Veterans Cemetary.
