These are firm plans, any changes I will notify you immediately.
 
Saturday, January 26 services will begin at 11:00 am.  All PGR members please meet at the Church at 10:00 am for instructions and travel routes.  The service will probably last 1 1/2 to 2 hours.  The service will be held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 100 Bishop Manogue Drive in Reno.
 
The Gaul and Hawley families will be attending Sgt. Drakulich's services this Saturday to show support for each other.  These families are so thankful for our efforts it is really incredible during this time of mourning that they thank us and wish us all a safe ride to attend the services.

The Sgt Sean Gaul mission is confirmed. The only details we are waiting for are the dates and places. Our Northern Nevada Ride Captain, Dave Burke is working with the respective CAO and he will share these details just as soon as they are available.

  Sgt. Gaul's funeral may be as early as Saturday.  Nothing is confirmed yet so please do not make travel plans based on this information.

We understand time is running short, but we go with the information we have.

The Nevada CAO has notified me that the family wishes our involvement in Sgt
Sean Gaul's mission in Reno, NV. Please post this as a mission. Details will
be forth coming. Our Northern Nevada Ride Captain, Dave Burke, will
coordinate mission details and I'll pass them on as we get closer to the
date/time.

By the way, Mr. Hawley said this was Sean's 5th combat tour. He served 2 tours in Afghanistan and 3 in Iraq.
He is our Nevada hero.

DoD Identifies Army Casualties

            The Department of Defense announced today the death of six soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.  They died Jan. 9 in Sinsil, Iraq, of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated during combat operations.  They were assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Division, Vilseck, Germany.
 
            Killed were:
 
            Spc. Todd E. Davis, 22, of Raymore, Mo.
 
            Staff Sgt. Jonathan K. Dozier, 30, of Rutherford, Tenn.
 
            Staff Sgt. Sean M. Gaul, 29, of Reno, Nev.
 
            Sgt. Zachary W. McBride, 20, of Bend, Ore.
 
            Sgt. 1st Class Matthew I. Pionk, 30, of Superior, Wis.
 
            Sgt. Christopher A. Sanders, 22, of Roswell, N.M.

This is such a tragedy for all of America, friends and family of Sgt. Christophher A. Sanders, Sgt. 1st Class Mathew Pionk, Sgt. Zachary W. McBride, Staff Sgt. Sean M. Gaul, Staff Sgt. Johathan K. Dozier, and Spc. Todd E. Davis, please accept my most humble and sincere condolences for the loss of your loved ones. We've lost 6 Great American heroes, 6 Brave Warriors who have given their life for our Freedom, paid the ultimate sacrifice for us so that we could continue to enjoy the freedoms and liberties that we so often take for granted. You are truly appreciated, SSG Gaul. The word "hero" is used too lightly in our society........YOU are a true hero. I know you have been welcomed at heaven's gates by all our fallen warriors who have gone before you. Rest easy Sean......you will never be forgotten here.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice in defending and protecting our freedoms. As a nation we mourn your loss, and we will remember you always as a true American hero.
