To the family of Cpl. Allen C. Roberts

There are no words we can say to ease the pain of your loss. We want you to know that we care very much about what you are going through.  Allen was, obviously, a courageous man who put others ahead of himself. We are sure that you are very proud of him.

This grateful Nation owes him more than we can ever repay. May we ever live our lives in a way that will honor his great sacrifice.  We know he is now in Heaven covering our backs as he did here on Earth.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Cpl. Allen C. Roberts. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. Know your son was and is a Hero to us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always. He will never be forgotten.

Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Allen.

Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.

Morning Star lights the way;
Restless dream all done;
Shadows gone, break of day,
Life has just begun.
Every tear wiped away,
Pain and sickness gone;
Wide awake there with Him!
Peace goes on and on!
Going home, going home,
I'll be going home.
See the Light! See the Sun!
I'm just going home.

Cpl. Allen C. Roberts known to his high school friends in Arcola as "P-Dub" and his friends in the military as "Turbo" he is the love of my life, my soulmate.. All he wanted was to be a respected Marine.. there were som that didn't.. I know I was the one he confided in..  He went an extra mile he tried to be the person that everyone liked.. everyone did with the exception of a small handful.. I loved him with everything I had..

I wanted to share that on the early morning of the 27th.. he called me frfom just getting in from a patrol.. he wanted to call his mom.. but was tired.. he said he wanted to see if she could get his church to gather toys for the Iraqi kids.. he felt so bad that they didn't have anything to play with..

this is a post that I have posted from his myspace.. which is www.myspace.com/acr2oo4

Please let them know Allen passed away.. I, nor his mom doesn't have his friends phone numbers or way to contact some of the friends he had in the military.. I've tried my best and I think I forgot to message a couple of people on myspace.. I posted pictures for anyone who would like to copy.. I did find an article that had a picture of one from Iraq that I posted earlier.. it was just a tad shocking that it got to a newpaper website that quick.. but he would want to be remembered by all.. it was one of our most recent talks.. we talked everyday..

I will not be online from 8-1:45 or 4:15 to 5:00 and 6:15 to 10:45.. I can't miss anymore work.. this is gonna be a hard day tomorrow..

I will give his mothers address for anyone who would like to send her well wishes and condolences..
