Will the ride from the airport to League City be at freeway speeds or will it be slow enough to put the big flag out?

I anyone wants to stage a run from League City to IAH, let me know. We could meet up somewhere on the Gulf Freeway near Clear Lake and ride in together. There's a park and ride right on the freeway at Bay Area that will be empty Sunday. Easy on and off.

I am leading a ride from League City to IAH staging area. If there are enough people North of me (Pasadena South Houston) , I'll stop off at the Shell station on Genoa Red bluff & Belt way 8 on the way North. If we leave League City (I-45 & FM518 Old Academy Parking lot) at 12:30, pickup riders at 1:00 at the Shell station, that would put us up at the airport by 2:00 with a little breathing room for traffic and problems. So far I know of at least 5 other bikes besides me. I don't know how many are going to show up.

It's almost time to WELCOME HOME another of our son's.  PVT. BRIAN GILMORE will be arriving on Sunday scheduled on United at 3:30.  We're STAGING at the Sheraton on JFK BLVD south of Greens RD and north of Beltway 8.  Official Staging Time is 2:00 PM with Meeting & Blessing at 2:40 or there abouts.  We will move to the Terminal at 3:00PM after checking the latest flight arrival time.

Once we meet Brian and his Mom we will leave on WIll Clayton Pkwy to I-59.  Once we get on I-59 we will work our way to Lane 1 or 2 depending on traffic.  On the way down we will move to I-45 SOUTH again moving to the first lane. (Left)  Follow your leaders and the Road Guards.  They will pick the time.  We will exit at exit 22 and then work our way to Brian's HOME......

There is no formal Welcome event so after saying our hello's/goodbyes we are own our own for dinner or whatever.  Anyone have any ideas, this isn't an area I am familiar with.  Know a Good biker place in the area?

Need 10 or so Road Guards depending on how many show up.
