Ladies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders:
We have been invited by the Family of PFC Neil I. Turner to assist them with the Interment of their son Neil. This will be a I phase Mission.
 
Neil I Turner, had graduated from Lincoln High School just last year and joined the U.S.Army soon after. Neil leaves behind his Mother,Father, and two younger brothers. Neil also has many friends in the Tacoma area that will miss him, classmates,teachers that supported his decision to enter the service of his Country.

PFC Turner was a member of the 1st Battalion,41st infantry Regiment, 3rd brigade combat team 1st Armored Division, in Fort Bliss Texas.
Neil died of injuries sustained from a non-combat incident in Logar Province, Afghanistan, on 11JAN2012.
 
Please join us as we ride and stand for this American Hero. On behalf of the Family, who has made such a sacrifice for our freedom, and who continues to stand for those who have stood for us.
 
Check the weather this time of year and dress accordingly, safety is our first concern.

DOD Identifies Army Casualty

            The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

            Pfc. Neil I. Turner, 21, of Tacoma, Wash., died Jan. 11, in Logar province, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained from a non-combat related incident.  He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas.
