Michael, may you rest in the knowledge that your duty was well done and you have the gratitude of an entire nation for your sacrifice and your service. I know that you will now be in the company of your fellow veterans who have gone before you and who will welcome you at the Gates upon your arrival. Stand down now and know that we will carry on your legacy of freedom for all our citizens. To your family and friends I ask that God comfort them now in their time of despair and remain with them as they adjust to their loss. |
