From the Florida National Guard;

On 11 November 2009 at the Camp Blanding Museum and Memorial Park, we will be hosting a Veterans Day Ceremony Honoring all Veterans. This years Guest Speaker is Colonel Richard Gallant, Commander, 53rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team. (COL Gallant will be leading the Citizen Soldiers of the Florida National Guard into the sandbox. Details of this StateWide Send-Off will be forthcoming.) 

We will be posting colors, playing taps, placing a wreath and honoring all veterans.

 The PGR in Florida has participated in a numerous Welcome Home and Send-Off missions for our Citizen Soldiers. Recently we Welcomed Home one of the largest groups to depart NE Florida.

The Veterans Day Ceremony planners are still going ahead with the ceremony. Current weather forecasts are predicting the weather to clear up in the AM.

At 8:30am Debbie will call me to verify GO or NO-GO one last time. As soon as I get that call I will post.
