There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his selfless act of becoming a member of the DEA, his willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him. Though tears can never bring him back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he made and our sorrow at his passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given. Your mission on earth is complete, Agent Michael and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down Chad and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before. The Patriot Guard Riders will proudly stand for you.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Chad L. Mitchell, DEA Agent. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow.  For his unselfish dedication to Protect and Defend the citizens of our country he is a hero and will never be forgotten.

Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Chad.

Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.

Morning Star lights the way;
Restless dream all done;
Shadows gone, break of day,
Life has just begun.
Every tear wiped away,
Pain and sickness gone;
Wide awake there with Him!
Peace goes on and on!
Going home, going home,
I'll be going home.
See the Light! See the Sun!
I'm just going home.

Agent Michael and family..............your service and your dedication to our country and it's freedom are beyond reproach. If it wasn't for people such as you, there would be no freedom for the rest of us. The thin blue line of Law Enforcement can stretch very far and be very thin, but it is there all the same. Rest in peace my brother, your shift is over.

Thank you for your service Mr Michael. May you rest in peace.

“Some people’s lives can truly make a difference however long or short their lives on earth. They give the gifts of kindness and of caring. They sow the seeds of friendship and self-worth. Some people’s lives are beautiful examples of putting others first, and when they are gone, the lives of those they touched are so much richer, and the love they shared lives on and on.”
