The Ceremony will be held on Turkey Brook Park, Flanders Rd, Budd Lake, NJ.

Following will be a social gathering at American Legion Post #164, Willow Grove St in Hackettstown.

I'm planning to attend, not sure as PGR rider or just rider since I've asked a few people if they would like to make it a destination on Sunday.

Does anyone know if the social gathering is open to the public, or just PGR, AL, VFW, or participants only?

Thanks,
Les

Thanks Rob.

If I come solo I'll gladly stand the line. I introduced myself at the after ride picnic last year at Picatinney.

Shout out- anyone riding from Delaware Water Gap area on? I will probably cross at Portland Bridge and just stay on 46 if I'm solo, if with friends we may cross @ DWG, depends on them. If someone knows good spot to meet, let me know.

Thanks,
Les

All,

Great to see the wonderful turnout today at the final staging. Unfortunately, Charlie's bike had another electrical issue when we were to pull out. He and I got a temporary fix in place in about half an hour, but decided that the prudent course of action would be to head directly home and effect a more permanent repair (it was a broken wire). So - our apologies for missing this one, and to the two gents (first mission) I asked to see me after the mission, please catch up with me on the next one.

Hope everyone else had a safe and enjoyable ride.

This was a great mission. Charlie, we're sorry to hear about the problem with your bike but glad to hear you were able to temporarily fix it so you could get home. Seems like Murphy's Law strikes at the worst of times but it's better to be safe then get out there and not be able to get home. We'll see you and Liz the next time around.

As Lil said this was a great mission. Liz , sorry to hear about Charliie's trouble but I'm glad you both made it home. I wondered where I had lost you at. I want to thank everyone that showed up on a beautiful Sunday.
From the reactions I received from some of the American Legion folks that were there we impressed them.
I hope everyone saw the pictures, they tell your story. I also received a certificate from the
American Legion Auxilary Department of New Jersey that belongs to everyone of you. I will post a copy of it in the picture section on the NJ Forum.
Thank You for being there for our POW/MIA's, its a subject that is very close to this veteran.
