It is with heartfelt regret and sympathy for the family of U.S. Army SPC Carlos E. Wilcox IV, that I submit these few words of condolence. And as an old soldier and MP, I offer my respect and honor to Carlos for his courageous service as a member of the Army National Guard of Minnesota. My heart is filled with regret at the thought of the loss of this young man and his comrades, when they were yet in the morning of their lives, with so much yet to do and accomplish. May he and they rest in eternal peace in the presence of God and all who have gone before. I pray to my Source of Strength that all whose hearts are in anguish will be soothed by many acts of love and compassion. May they find their pathway through the coming days lined by guardian angels; and may they come to understand that eternal love will be a source of strength and solace.

Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Carlos.

Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.

Morning Star lights the way;
Restless dream all done;
Shadows gone, break of day,
Life has just begun.
Every tear wiped away,
Pain and sickness gone;
Wide awake there with Him!
Peace goes on and on!
Going home, going home,
I'll be going home.
See the Light! See the Sun!
I'm just going home.
