Patriot Guard has been invited to the official Sendoff Ceremony for the National Guard 1218th Transportation Company out of West Palm Beach, Florida. 01 JUL 09
Excerpt from letter from their XO:
We are having an official deployment ceremony on 1 July 2009, at the West Palm Beach Armory, located at 3193 Gun Club Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33406. The ceremony will start at 10:00am, with guests starting to arrive at about 9:00am.
Our Battalion and State Headquarters, has invited many of the local and state politicians. At this time I can not confirm who will be showing up for sure. Plus our Battalion staff has notified the local media, I've been told. It would be great to have the Patriot Guard Riders present, to show these fine soldiers your support as we prepare to leave for Iraq.
Staging: 9:00 am - 9:20 am
Briefing: 9:20 am
Flag Line: 9:30 am

| 10 Riders arrived to send off members of this unit. A flag line was set inside the auditorium of the Armory, behind the assembled troops. After completion of the ceremony we mingled with the troops and bade them a productive mission and safe return. Thx to alr 268, leathernecks, PBHOG and independents that attended to honor these troops. |
