Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of MAJ (Ret) John Fowler, USA, Veteran. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. He is one of America's Heroes that will never be forgotten.

Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, John.

Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.

Morning Star lights the way;
Restless dream all done;
Shadows gone, break of day,
Life has just begun.
Every tear wiped away,
Pain and sickness gone;
Wide awake there with Him!
Peace goes on and on!
Going home, going home,
I'll be going home.
See the Light! See the Sun!
I'm just going home.

Thank you for my freedom MAJ Fowler. May you rest in peace.

To the family and friends of Veteran John Fowler,

There are no words or platitudes that can temper your pain. I can’t think of anything in life that could be more painful, then the loss of a loved one.

I would, however, like to take a moment to remind you that as deep as the hole in your heart feels at this time, it will be filled over time with the wonderful times spent together.

In talking with his family and friends, I know the Major was a good and fair man who also accomlished what he set out to do.  Those who reported to him held him in high regards.  He gave us and our families over 20 years of his life for our safety and security.

major, thank you for all you've given us.  I hope we can give you the respect you deserve and a sense of freedom second only to the freedom of eternal life as we escort you and your family on your last bike ride.
