CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT BRYCE S. MAXSON
Chief Master Sergeant Bryce S. Maxson is the Senior Enlisted Leader United States Air Forces Central Forward. He advises the Deputy Combined Force Air Component Commander (DCFACC) and staff on matters influencing the health, welfare, morale, utilization, and quality of life for enlisted personnel assigned to the Combined Air and Space Operations Center (CAOC), Al Udeid AB Qatar. Within the CAOC, he is responsible for the leadership, management, and mentorship of over 1,200 assigned personnel from the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, and coalition forces. He routinely liaises with AEW Command CMSgts and SELs, and travels throughout the AOR assessing health, welfare, and concerns of Airmen reporting back to the AFCENT Commander and Command Chief. As the air component of US Air Forces Central, its mission is to develop contingency plans and conduct air operations in a area of responsibility stretching from southward to the Seychelles Islands and across the Arabian Peninsula and Southwest Asia to Pakistan.
Chief Maxson entered the Air Force in January 1983 and completed basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. Chief graduated from the Administrative Specialist Course at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss in April 1983 and has held a variety of duties in the information management and group superintendent career fields.
