Escort Plan below applies only to the leg from Dover to the Kent Island hand-off point.
====================================================================

There is a plan in place to cover the escort from hand-off point to the funeral Home -

BUT THAT PORTION OF THE ESCORT IS LIMITED TO THOSE RIDERS ALREADY
CONTACTED FOR THAT LEG.

DUE TO LACK OF LEO, AND THE NEED FOR SAFETY OF THE RIDERS,
WE ARE LIMITING THE ESCORT NUMBER OF BIKES, AND ALL RIDERS
HAVE ALREADY BEEN SELECTED. NO SLOTS OPEN!!!

PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP AT THE KENT ISLAND TRANSFER POINT EXPECTING
TO BE PART OF THE ESCORT FROM THERE TO THE FH.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of PFC Matthew W. Wilson. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. Know your son was and is a Hero to us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always. He will never be forgotten.

Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Matthew.

Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.

Morning Star lights the way;
Restless dream all done;
Shadows gone, break of day,
Life has just begun.
Every tear wiped away,
Pain and sickness gone;
Wide awake there with Him!
Peace goes on and on!
Going home, going home,
I'll be going home.
See the Light! See the Sun!
I'm just going home.

My nephew Matthew left behind a wife and seven month old baby. He will miss his first Father's Day but will forever be a hero to his son Gunnar. Please keep his wife Ashlynn and Gunnar in your prayers. God Bless the other heroes, Staff Sgt. Jeffrey A. Hall, 28, of Huntsville, Ala. and Pfc. Matthew D. Ogden, 33, of Corpus Christi, Texas, who lost their lives that day and the two wounded soldiers involved in the incident. Our sympathies to the 2nd Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) who were his friends and fellow soldiers. Please keep his brother-in-law Thomas, who was in the humvee behind him in your thoughts and prayers too. God Bless them all and keep them in the palm of his hands.
