We have been invited by the family of Robert "Bob" Sutherland, 56, Army Vietnam Veteran, to participate in honoring his service to this Great Nation at his visitation, funeral and interment services on Thursday & Friday, 12-13 MAR 09.  Visitation and Funeral Services will be conducted at Wendt Funeral Home, 1811 15th St. Pl., Moline, IL.  Interment will follow at R.I. National Cemetery.

I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of Robert Sutherland.
My heartfelt condolences go out to all family and friends.

Thank You to a true hero who answered the call to duty, performing the selfless act of giving of oneself to serve their country. Thank You. THANK YOU.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Bob Sutherland. Bob was and will always be a hero to those of us who rested, while he stayed awake in defense of our freedoms.  So long as one man loves America, Bob will always be remembered. I will stand for him, as he stood for me.

Bob, I know you are listening, and probably wondering what the fuss is all about. Soldiers are often like that, humble in their greatest deeds. We remind ourselves to be grateful for the time you spent among us, and hope we learned from your presence while we had the opportunity.

Thank you, Bob, and with this detail completed, Godspeed in your next mission. You will be missed here, and welcomed at your new command.

My condolences to the family and friends of Vietnam Veteran Robert 'Bob' Sutherland.

'No Greater Love is this that a man is willing to lay down his life for another.' Only two men were willing to sacrifice their lives for us-Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. Neither of which can ever fully be repaid.

Thank you for your Service and my Freedoms. Your sacrifices will never go unnoticed. I am grateful to live in a country made up of volunteers like you. Your choice to protect our Nation and put your self on the line can never be repaid.
