My condolences to SSGT. Jake Tompkins' family and friends. I, we, appreciate the time he spent serving our Country, and keeping it safe for the rest of us.

I worked at the same facility as SSGT. Tompkins, and he was a straight up guy, and was much respected by his co-workers. His departure was a deficit to his employer and co-workers.

UPDATE:
For those planning on attending SSGT. Tompkins' Mission, as I am, we can meet in Big Lake or Monticello, and vanpool to Litchfield. I have room for 4 more in my van.  If you're interested in 'pooling, please call my home and leave a message, or leave a message here.

PLEASE dress warm for this Mission, bring your flags, and your Respect.  We want to do the RIGHT THING for this man.

Respectfully submitted, with a heavy heart,
