Soldiers Angels and the Patriot Guard Riders in a joint effort have taken on the monumental task of providing a decent home for Cpl Jeremy (Matt) Cabaniss and his family to live in. Cpl Jeremy (Matt) Cabaniss was injured in Iraq in two IED explosions. What started out as a Roof repair has turned into a national project. Riders from as far as Tennessee and Arkansas are volunteering to help out. We need your help. Please read on!

This flag has a story behind it. It was given to me by the PGR Michigan Asst State Capt Danny Laginess, to send to my son Jarrod Stinger and to his unit still in the sandbox. This flag started its journey at Operation Handshake at Flint Airport (Operation Handshake is a PGR Welcome Home Honor Mission that is done at Christmas time). If you look closely somewhere on the flag is a general's signature, thank you "Sir". It then continued its journey onto GR Ford Airport in Grand Rapids, MI for the Operation Handshake that took place Christmas Eve Day. This is where the VanDreumel Family, one of Michigans Gold Star Families, insisted on being able to sign this flag. (I was moved by this as their loss was so recent.) This flag is signed by many of Michigan's Patriot Guard Members. The flag then continued on its journey to the sand box where it is displayed here.
