The family of William ME. Darlymple USN retired, Veteran of WW II , Korea, and the Vietnam war has requested the attendance of the Patriot Guard Riders for a Memorial Service to be held in his Honor. There will be a procession (approx. 12 miles) followed by a ceremony in the family cemetery. William, who served on the USS Enterprise CV-6 during WW II, the most decorated war ship of all time, will be memorialized for his service to this great Nation.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of William "Moss" Darlymple, WWII, Korean & Viet Nam War Veteran. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. He is
one of America's Heroes that will never be forgotten.
Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, William.
Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.
Morning
Star lights the way;
Restless dream all done;
Shadows gone, break of day,
Life has just begun.
Every tear wiped away,
Pain and sickness gone;
Wide awake there with Him!
Peace goes on and on!
Going home, going home,
I'll be going home.
See the Light! See the Sun!
I'm just going home.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: 1. Jesus Christ. 2. The American G.I. One died for your soul, the other for your Freedom. |

Fellow PRG riders, I spoke with a few other riders and have decided to rally in Huntsville, AL and then ride to Albertivlle together. KSU at 0800 and departing the McDonalds just West of University Drive and Jordan lane. I welcome other riders for the 65 minute ride to staging area. There is a gas station diagonally across the street if you need fuel.
