We have once again been invited to stand for Sgt. Dustin Laird, just as we did Aug 12, 2006 in Martin, TN. Dustin is the son of one of our own, Billy "d.money" Laird. The Memorial Bridge Dedication Ceremony and unveiling of the Memorial sign for Dustin will be held at Abiff Rd , Burns , TN near Dickson , TN.

As you may know, SR840 has been designated as the " Tennessee National Guard Parkway " and the bridges and overpasses are being dedicated to Fallen Tennessee National Guard HEROES.

There will be a small reception for families and soldiers at 11:00am in the main conference room at Joint Force Headquarters, 3041 Sidco Dr, Nashville, TN from there, they will be escorted to the Overpass for the 1:00pm Dedication Ceremony. SGT Dustin Laird's Overpass spans Abiff Road on the portion of SR840 which is west of Nashville .

Please make every effort possible to attend this special ceremony to Honor our Tennessee National Guard Soldier, for his contributions in preserving America ʼs freedom in the War on Terrorism.

Staging:

Please meet at the overpass on Abiff Rd by 12:15pm as road closures will begin at 12:30pm in preparation for the dedication. National Guard Soldiers will be there waiting as well.

Cagers, please bring flags if you have them and be prepared to Stand for Dustin, as his family arrives escorted by the Army to the bridge.
