08 Apr 2008 8:38 PM Alert

Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs has invited us to participate in a Memorial Day Service on Monday, 26 May 08. This is a big deal, and will include a mounted procession of the Buffalo Soldiers from the cemetery entrance to the memorial for the Spanish American War. They would love it if we could plan on preceding the Buffalo soldiers into the cemetery, then set up a flag line for them to ride through.

Ted Malone will be the contact and the Ride Captain for this event, and will be posting more information as it becomes available.

The service will begin at 1300 hours (1PM) and will include our flagline as the Buffalo Soldiers ride their horses up the avenue from the entrance of the cemetery to the Spanish American War memorial. There will also be military honors and bagpipes.

I'll post more info (staging, etc) as the date gets closer, but I hope we can make a good showing for this one!
