****************** FINAL ITINERARY AND STAGING INFORMATION ************************
******************* THE PGR PARTICIPATION FOR THIS MISSION ************************
*********************** WILL BE ON SUNDAY MARCH 30TH, 08 ****************************
I have been in direct contact and working with Krista's Family in our arrangements to honor and celebrate the wonderful memory of our very own PGR Member and self proclaimed "Biker Babe", Krista. I have been absolutely overwhelmed with hundreds and hundreds of emails with your intent to ride and show your support to the Family and for the impact this little Angel made on each of you.
I've been following this thread and the Caring Bridge site since I met Krista and have read all the outpourings of heartfelt emotions and prayers from those all across our Country that have been touched by Our precious little gift from God.
Krista's parents Dave and Cheryl saw how we touched Krista's life. They saw how some of her last happy days on this Earth were spent sporting her newfound pride in being a Patriot Guard Rider. They saw her as she proudly wore her PGR Vest and PGR doorag while she spent much of her precious short time left here trying to help and comfort others. She in her own courageous and brave way started to exhibit the pride that each of you feels in "doing the right thing".
It will be our honor to be there for this amazingly strong and brave Patriot Guard Rider. She was our PGR Sister and an example of strength to all of us. We will ride for her on Sunday and sadly I will not see her in my rear view mirror or feel her little hands clinging to my vest but I am sure if I look up to the heavens I will see her angelic smiling face watching over each and every one of us.
Saturday Viewing will be for Family and Friends.
Sunday Viewing will be held from 1400 to 1600 Hrs at: The Bryant Funeral Home 411 Old Town Rd Setauket, NY
Church Service will be on Sunday evening at 1930 hrs at: First Baptist Church of Patchogue 482 North Ocean Ave. (just north of the Sunrise Hwy.) Patchogue, NY
***Itinerary*** We will allow the Family and Friends to have their time to remember Krista at the Saturday viewing. On Sunday we will stage and ride to the Funeral Home from our final staging area and set up our flag lines from 1330 to 1615. We will break down the flag lines and those who can remain or return for the Church service will meet back at the funeral home by 1830 and escort the Family and Krista to the Church where we will again set up a flag line. At the completion of the Service (approx 2030 hrs) those who remained will escort back to the Funeral Home. The Family has chosen to have the interment services on Monday held in private for immediate Family only.
***Final Staging Area*** Shopping Center Parking lot at 4840 Nesconset Hwy, Port Jefferson Station, NY This is at the intersection of Rt 347 and Norwood Ave. KSU at 1315 hrs on Sunday.
State and Ride Captains please post your routes and times so others may join you. I will be posting my ride route from NJ first thing tomorrow morning. Ct, DE, NJ, NY, and PA---thank you and see you all on Sunday.
Semper Fi, Bill "Hawk" Connelly Mid-Atlantic Regional Captain Marine Vet and Proud Father of Marine Cpl who returned from the sand, Past NJ State Captain Hawk@PatriotGuard.org _________________________________________________________________________ PRINCESS KRISTA MISSION PGR MEMBER March 27, 2008

In February we were contacted and told a story of an amazing young lady, “Princess Krista”. Sadly, Krista was courageously battling a long hard fight against cancer. We were asked by her Uncle Keith (NightTurkey), a fellow Patriot Guard Rider from South Carolina, if we would put together a mission to present Krista with her own Patriot Guard Rider Vest.
He and other PGR’s in his area put together the vest shown and sent it off to me for the presentation on what was to many of us an extremely emotional day. Krista deeply touched all of our hearts that day as she exhibited strength and courage way bigger than you would think could be contained in such a tiny frame.
I had the honor that day to take Krista for her first Harley Ride. In my rear view mirror I could see an ear to ear proud smile as she led her PGR group of thundering motorcycles around the local streets of her hometown. I will remember that smile and the courage of this brave little Angel forever.
To quote her Uncle in his posting, “On this day at 0233 hrs, Krista was eternally healed and made forever beautiful”. I received a call from Krista’s parents, Dave and Cheryl and they have invited us to attend the services for our fellow Patriot Guard Rider, Krista, and to ride and stand our lines in her Honor. We will.
I will post all itinerary as soon as they are set. From our conversations, this mission will probably be set for Sunday 3/30/08. Updates to Follow.
This is a quote from Krista’s Mom Cheryl taken off the Princess Krista website at www.caringbridge.org/PrincessKrista
I just would like you all to know that Krista went to clinic today with her doo-rag ( patriot guard) and her Biker Vest. She wore it sooooo PROUD and someone made the mistake of calling her " The Princess" and she very quickly reminded them that she was also a "Biker Babe". She also now signs her school papers for her tutor "Krista BB" and told her tutor that stand for "Krista Biker Babe". You folks (PGR) made quite an impression on this "Princess" she is probably going to be the first Princess know as "Princess Biker Babe" ( lets see if Disney steals that one).
God Bless
Love Cheryl
In Loving Memory of this precious Angel,

Cheryl, Dave and family, My deepest condolences on your loss of such a wonderful youg lady. I followed the carebridge web site daily and Krista continued to amaze me with her caring for others in light of her own illness. People like her are few and far between and she is as much a hero to me and was as brave as our men and women who served or are serving our country. In her short life she showed a greatness that will be missed. I will be honored to ride with Krista on her final journey as I was to have her get her motorcycle ride on my bike. She was definitely a rare and precious child and I was glad I had the chance to meet her.

Usually at a time like this I struggle for words to comfort a friend who has suffered a loss. The right words don’t often come, but if accompanied by the right sentiment they can be soothing. But I have learned over time that the best comfort at a time like this comes from those who watch over us. My beliefs allow me to be comforted by a certainty that I am watched over by those who have gone before me. |

| I have been following this heart touching story; and no matter how highly I thought of the members of my Patriot Guard family prior to this, I am in awe. My heart aches that such a wonderful young lady had to endure so much. Angels do truly visit us here on earth, and in Krista, there is proof. I believe that there is a growing flag line on high, and "Princess Krista" Patriot Guard Rider, has now proudly taken her place. |

| Sometimes, God sends his most important messages about life with the tiniest of messengers...Krista is, indeed, one of those messengers. My prayer will be that her family finds peace and comfort in her loving memory; that they find courage in her heroism; and that we all benefit by her example. Rest in peace, hero. |
