SPC Krystal Lee Worman died while on active duty serving in the United States Army at Fort Gordon, GA.. SPC Worman passed on Friday, March 21st, 2008. Her family has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand in silent respect at funeral and interment services for her in St. Petersburg, FL on Saturday March 29, 2008. She is survived by her father, two brothers, and a sister.

SPC Worman made one of the most courageous decisions that anyone could ever make. She made the decision to enlist in the United States Army during war time. She made the decision to put her life at risk for you and I. She made the decision to put her life on the line if necessary to bring freedom to people who, until recently, knew freedom only as a concept that existed in someone else's world, not theirs. SPC Worman is an American Hero.

Let's give her family the support they deserve as they make their way through this most difficult of times. Let's show this Hero and her community that we DO appreciate all that she has done for us.

Services will be held at:
Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery
5750 49th St N
St Petersburg, FL 33709-2108

We will stage at Funeral Home.

 Final  Itinerary:
11:00am - Staging Begins
11:40am - Mission Brief
12:00pm - Set Flag Line
  1:00pm - Service Begins

Please bring your 3x5 American Flag and join us as we stand in Honor of SPC Krystal Lee Worman, a true America Hero.

My sympathy to the family and friends of U.S. Army Specialist Krystal Lee Worman. My respect to this young soldier...who chose to serve her country during a time of war. As a member of the Army family, I sorrow for her loss so early in her life's day. She will now stand ever as having been a part of an organization which pre-dates our country. I pray to Our Eternal Father that all who grieve for this young woman will be comforted, and find solace.

"O God, our help in ages past, Our hope for years to come, Our shelter from the stormy blast, And our eternal home!"

Long, long ago a Mother (Mary) asked, "Heavenly Father, why did my Child have to die on a cross outside Jerusalim?" All the answers are so near the same. One died to save our Souls and the others died to protect our Freedoms.
