The family of Noel Lars Peterson has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to stand in Honor of their Hero at services for him at VFW Post 8189 in Homosassa, Fl. On 27 July 2008.
 
Noel retired from the USN as an EOC (Electronics Warfare Chief) after 20 years of service. He was a Vietnam Veteran and was one of the first advisors to be sent "in country".
Noel was originally from Staten Island, NY. After retiring from the Navy, Noel lived several years in Pa. Then moved to  Crystal River, Fl. In 2004.
 
Noel passed away on 23 July 2008. He is survived by his wife and two daughters. 
 
Service will be 2:00 PM Sunday at:    VFW Post 8189 
                                                             8856 W. Veterans Dr. 
                                                                Homosassa, Fl.
 
 We will stage at the VFW. This will be a flag line only. Noel will be inurned at Pa. In December.
 
 Staging Begins:       12:30 PM
 Mission Brief:           1:10 PM
 Set Flag Line:           1:20 PM
 Service Begins:        2:00 PM
 
Please bring your 3 x 5 American Flag, and join us as we stand in silent respect for a True American Hero.
