To the family of Hospitalman Retmier;
Our small town has suffered so many losses, we are so saddened to hear about Marc. A Marine serving with him told us of his friendship with your son and his heartbreak over your loss. We are praying for you and all of those who lost the pleasure of the company of this young man. He will not be forgotten by those who loved him nor those who served with him. His memory will live forever and his name will be on the lips of old men when veterans sit and tell stories of their fallen brothers.
