Sincerest condolences to Pvt. Gaylord's family and friends.  I thank God every day for all our warriors around the world.  Words simply cannot express nor provide adequate comfort to the families of our fallen but they're all I can offer from Colorado.  Just know that there are 100's of thousands of Americans out here that truly appreciate the sacrifice our warriors and their loved ones make so we can continue to enjoy the freedoms and rights we have left and sleep with the confidence that they have our back.

I have extreme confidence that the MO PGR contingent will turn out in force to honor and respect Pvt. Gaylord and family's sacrifice and that they will "have his family's back" throughout this sad time.

Rest in peace Pvt. Alva L. Gaylord, your life even though cut way too short, was a resounding success!

May the comfort of God's love console you all.
