Cpl Todd E. Davis

Escort Mission

Date:
01/20/08

Staging Time/Place:  Marriott Hotel 775 Brasilia Ave. KC MO 64153 (by KCI) @ 1000hrs

Pre-Mission Briefing: 1030 hrs

KSU: 1100hrs

Visitation:

**Date:  *01/21/08

*Staging Time/Place:  *Mt.Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home 10507 Holmes Road,
Kansas City, MO.* *@ 1000 hrs

*Pre-Mission Briefing: *1015 hrs

*Present Flag Line/provide shielding services:  *1230 hrs or as necessary **

**Services:

**Date:  *01/21/08

*Staging Time/Place:  *Mt.Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home 10507 Holmes Road,
Kansas City, MO.* *@ 1300 hrs

*Shift Flag Line:  *approx. 1345 hrs

Order of the day is cold weather gear.  Advise utilization of 4 wheel
travel.  Mode of transportation is not nearly as important as *Standing the
Flag Line*. *Be advised* while the highways are clear of crud, and the side
streets are becoming more clear everyday...  the parking lot of the staging
area is *snow and ice packed. *The entrance and parking lot of Exec
BeechCraft is *snow and ice packed*.  The entrance to Mt. Moriah is about a
30% incline, if not more, and is *snow and ice packed*.  So, all you macho
"I got heated gear" guys, and the other "I got no sense" guys, leave *your
pride and your ride* in the garage and pack your car full of PGR folks and
come out to honor this fallen hero in a safe manner.  If you ride, you do so
*at your own risk.*  I can not stress *safety* enough on this mission.

We will be fully escorted to Mt. Moriah from Exec. BeechCraft by Pat Quinn
and American Cycle Escorts.

***Our galvanizing force from the Land of Oz have filed for permits and
faxed intentions.  With our current enacted legislation, and doing the math,
that puts us on station at the times noted above to perform shielding
services if necessary.

Our humble thanks to the family of Cpl Todd E. Davis, their friends and the
community of Lee's Summit for allowing the Patriot Guard Riders to be a part
of these services, and to allow us to show honor and respect to this Fallen
American Hero.

Thank you all for all you do.

ATTENTION RIDERS: There will be a flagline at 1230 hrs on Sunday 01/20/08. Those of you who want to participate in this event instead of the escort please meet up at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO.

I've been in contact with the family spokesperson, the funeral director, and the CAO.  I will continue to follow up and/or we will be notified as soon as there is additional information.  Please continue to watch this thread for updates and subsequent information.

Details are pending.  Please check this thread often for updates.
