A Prayer for Our Soldiers' Families

Heavenly Father, we pray for the safe return home of our soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan. We ask that you give our military commanders and political leaders wisdom and courage to fulfill their daunting responsibility. Lord, we implore you to please remember the families of these brave men and women. Bless the wives, parents, children and siblings of our fighting forces and give them solace and comfort. If it be your will, bring their loved ones home swiftly, sound in mind and body.

We pray these things in the name of the Son, the Father and the Holy Ghost,

Amen

It started out as a cool morning but GOD alway provides us with what we need. It truly was a wonderful day to see this young Marine step out of the family truck to see the PGR there for him. I believe he was without words for a minute but thing he was greeted and greeted all of us with a good hand shake and a big smile. The ride to Pleasant Plains could not have been better. The schools had the kids out (Thanks to them all) and the people of the area have aright to be proud of this Marine. Thanks to the family and to you Justin for letting us bring you home. You will be in my thoughts and prayers and will never be forgotten. GOD be with you and all your brothers in arms. Its been my honor to help show you the true HONOR and RESPECT you have earned. Thanks to all that showed up for this Welcome Home mission. I find that you never let anyone down. Stew "THE HAT" in Gillespie
