| My regret and sympathy to the family of U.S. Army Specialist Christopher G. Patton. I once served with Alpha, 2nd Bn, 5th Cavalry; and through all the years since, I have often wondered where are the "Black Knights" now, and how are they doing. It is with sorrow that I read of the loss of this fine young man. We must never forget how precious is our Freedom, for it has been purchased at such dear a price. May Our Heavenly Father Abide with all of Christopher's loved ones for all the days to come. |

To the family and friends of Spc. Patton, please know that we hold your soldier in the highest regard as an American Hero. Your loss has not gone unnoticed and it is not in vain.
It saddens me that one so young has paid the ultimate price for our freedom. We are proud of Christopher that he would stand between us and those that wish to do us evil. In his short life he has done more for the greater good than most can hope to do in a lifetime, for this he is a role-model for us and for his generation.
Go with God, Spc. Patton, He'll take you home. |

Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Christopher.
Going home, going home, I'm just going home. Quiet-like, slip away- I'll be going home. It's not far, just close by; Jesus is the Door; Work all done, laid aside, Fear and grief no more. Friends are there, waiting now. He is waiting, too. See His smile! See His hand! He will lead me through.
Morning Star lights the way; Restless dream all done; Shadows gone, break of day, Life has just begun. Every tear wiped away, Pain and sickness gone; Wide awake there with Him! Peace goes on and on! Going home, going home, I'll be going home. See the Light! See the Sun! I'm just going home.
