This is the final itinerary for the Patriot Guard Mission to honor Sgt. christopher M. Wilson, 24, who gave all on March 29, 2007. It is a go; all contacts have been made. Services at Arlington National Cemetery are on April 11, 2007, at approximately 1500 hrs.

Your ride captain for this mission is Kevin Rock, who can be reached at (410) 867-8882.

The current weather forecast for Arlington, Virginia, on Wednesday, April 11th is 50% chance of rain with a high of 53 degrees; low of 41 degrees. Dress accordingly, Iron Horses if you can, cages welcome. Flags are not required for this mission.

Staging at Iwo Jima - USMC Memorial at 1400 hrs, kickstands up at 1415 hrs.

Remember that our mission is to respect and honor this fallen soldier and his family. Stand tall and proud as we salute this hero and his family for their great sacrifice!!!

This is the final Itinerary for part 2 of a Patriot Guard mission to honor U.S. Army Christopher Wilson,  24  of Chicopee, Massachusetts,  who was killed in Afghanistan from a rocket propelled grenade explosion. 

Mission:
March 11, 1500 interment at Arlington National Cemetery.
Ride Captain:
Your Ride Captain for this mission is TBA.  
Staging:
01350 – 1420 Iwo Jima Memorial. 
1415 – Mission Briefing
1420 – Kickstands Up
Departure:
1420 - from Iwo.  Ride to ANC Administration and meet family.
1500 -  Grave-side service.
Weather:
The current weather forecast for Washington, DC on Wednesday, April 11   is expected to be: showers, High 58 F.
Additional Instructions:

    • 3 X 5 flags will be furled once we stop in Arlington.  There is one flag at Arlington and it flies on the hill and is always at half-staff to honor our heroes. 
    •   If you’re not on your bike, cars are welcome.
    • All bikes & vehicles will present a uniform appearance as we ride from the staging area to the cemetery - Bikes in a staggered formation. 
    • Turn off cell phones, please no smoking in front of mourners.
    • Multiple services are conducted in Arlington.  Please show respect for any hero who may be brought past.  If you are within hearing of taps for another service, stand silently until the last note is played.
    • Remember that our mission is to respect and honor this fallen soldier and his family.
    •  Stand tall and proud as we salute this young man and his family (and all of our heroes both fallen and serving in the military) for their great sacrifice!

The family of SGT Christopher M. Wilson has requested the presence of PGR at the private services for Christopher. This is truly an honor. The funeral will be at 1100 hours at the Second Baptist Church, Granby Rd., South Hadley MA

STAGING LOCATION: Big Y parking lot 44 Willimansett St.(RT. 33) South Hadley, MA .

: Monday, April 9th: 0930 Sharp

Bear right after toll booth
left at the light(RT. 33 NORTH)
