Final Plans for the Memorial Mission to Honor SSGT William "BJ" Beardsley are as follows:

Staging: "Restaurant of the Cherokees"
Hwy 62, 1/2 mile West of the Hwy 62 & 82 Junction.
South side of the Hwy

Time: 11:30 A.M

Briefing: 12:00 (Noon)

KSU: 12:15 P.M.

Weather: Sunny and Low 70's.

"The Hero's Mother will be riding with us from the Staging area to the Park."

We will be riding in Staggered Formation will three second intervals. Please try and keep the interval as we have 14 traffic lights we have to make with Leo's help.

Please bring extra flags if you have them to share with our new members who have not had the opportunity to get theirs yet.

Steve (Hawker1950) will be the Ride Captain for this Mission.

The Mother & family of SSgt William "BJ" Beardsley have requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders to attend a Memorial service being held Saturday, March 31, 2007 @ 13:00 (1:00 P.M.) This is an official honor mission. The Patriot Guard Riders stood for SSgt Beardsley in Indianapolis , IN , on March 8, 2007 for his funeral and at Ham Lake , MN on March 13 at a family memorial service there.

The memorial service is being held at
The Floyd Norris Park in Tahlequah , Oklahoma

Mission and staging details to follow.

Oklahoma , Arkansas , Missouri , Kansas & Texas riders are all encouraged to attend this mission if possible. Once again, this is an official honor mission so bring your flags and let’s ride proud to honor this fallen Hero.

I will not be able to attend this special mission, but I rest assured that my PGR brothers and sisters in Oklahoma will reflect the gratitude and honor we all feel for SSgt Beardsley.

I will be unable to attend this memorial service due to work! My thoughts and prayers will be with the family and friends of SSgt Beardsley and my PGR brothers and sisters!

For any one that might be interested, some of us will be heading to Seneca Ok/MO to visit the Moving Wall after this Mission. Every one is welsome to come along. It's about 85 miles to where the wall is.

Well, the weather has changed somewhat. They are calling for 40% chance of rain now. High in the mid 60's. This Mission will go forth.

We have a company here that makes our plaques and they are very good to us - when we askl them to ship the plaque to someone ASAP they tell the shipper that they (the plaque company) means ship it now. They take very good care of us and are as a patriotic company as there can be.
