Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of SGT Travis Pfister. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. Know your son was and is a Hero to us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always. He will never be forgotten.
Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Travis.
Going home, going home, I'm just going home. Quiet-like, slip away- I'll be going home. It's not far, just close by; Jesus is the Door; Work all done, laid aside, Fear and grief no more. Friends are there, waiting now. He is waiting, too. See His smile! See His hand! He will lead me through. |

I am in contact with the CAO for Sgt. Pfisters family, awaiting confirmation of date, time, and the details of the request for PGR participation. (The initial information is believed to be accurate, we just want to confirm it through the official channel.)
I will update the mission when I receive this information, and begin planning for our mission at that time.
It may be a couple of days as they are busy with the Ca. service over the next few days.

| God be with you, Sgt Pfister, and with your family. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten. I, too, lost a son in Iraq. I understand what you, the family, are dealing with. Travis will be remembered always, as a courageous and selfless American hero, by our grateful and deeply indebted nation. The prayers and thoughts of so many are with you. God bless you. Thank you for your service and sacrifice in defending and protecting our freedoms. As a nation we mourn your loss, and we will remember you always as a true American hero. To the family, I offer my prayers and support. I understand a little of what you are going through-my son, a Marine LCpl, was killed in Iraq. I pray wonderful memories of your dear warrior help eventually to ease the pain you endure today. Your hero will never be forgotten-he leaves a legacy of honor and courage that few will ever achieve. God bless you. Julie Francis, Matt's Mom |

I start to write this and realize that it's so easy to just block my feelings and not acknowledge how special he must have been and why I am writing this. With it being this hard for me I know I can't fathom the pain you must be feeling. No words can take that away. I guess what I feel would help, at least some, is the knowledge that people do care and that my loved one would not be forgotten. The sacrifice all of you have given to protect our homeland and freedoms is appreciated and will not be taken for granted. My heart goes out to you.
