For the state of GA, we will stand a flag line in honor of Lance Cpl. Suedmeyer at the H.M. Patterson & Son Funeral Home tomorrow morning.  The staging will be at 0800 with the flag line starting approx. 0845.  Lance Cpl. Suedmeyer will depart at approx. 0900 for his trip to Huntsville where he will be received by PGR there.

It is with Heavy Heart I inform you on the loss of another True American Hero.
LCpl Suedmeyer lost his life in a tragic automobile accident on 13 MAR 10 as He and His Wife Katelyn were traveling from Camp LeJeune NC to visit his Family in Huntsville. LCpl Suedmeyer served in Iraq 08-09 assigned to 2nd Tank Bn.

The Family of LCpl Suedmeyer have invited the Patriot Guard to honor our hero. This will be a multi part mission. Our hero will be arriving from GA Sunday 21 MAR 10. Due to the weather we will not be doing an Escort. We will have a Flag Line on arrival in Huntsville at Twickenham Funeral Home.  Details for his services will be sent out as soon as final arrangements are made. Please watch this thread closely for updates.

Please keep this Family in your Prayers , LCpl Suedmeyers wife Katelyn , 19 , is still hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

So are we or are we not escorting him from Marietta to Huntsville? If we are i can follow to Rome at least so I can get back to Atlanta for a prior appointment. BTW I only drive a cage. Let me know if we are escorting to Huntsville or just doing flag line in Marietta. thanks!

My condolences to the family and wife of this outstanding Marine. I heard about this accident on the news and the next day I heard it was a Marine returning from Iraq. Sorry for the loss.

Karon and I would like to offer our most sincere condolences and prayers to the family and friends of LCpl. Gregory M. Suedmeyer USMC. Also, we would like to offer prayers for the speedy & complete recovery of Katelyn.

Please rest assured that Gregory has now reported to his new duty station and, as the last verse of the Marine Corps Hymn says, is now "Guarding The Streets of Heaven".
