This is a Confirmed ANC Mission

========================

SGT. Anthony A. Paci, 30, of Rockville, Md., died Mar. 4 at Gereshk, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered during a vehicle rollover.  He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 17th Infantry, 5th Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.

Anthony is to be laid to his final Hero's rest on the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) on 25 March, 2010 at approximately 1300 hours from the ANC Administration Building.

PGR is honoring this American Hero with an Honor Flag Line during visitation and services, and providing a mounted escort from the funeral home in Bethesda, MD earlier the same day. For details of that portion of the mission, see the plan posted / to be posted on the main thread - http://tinyurl.com/PGR-Paci.

25 MAR 10 ANC Mission Plan
-------------------------------------------

This is the 2nd part of a 2 part mission.

The regular ANC PGR Riders are encouraged to stage at the Iwo Jima Memorial as noted below
=====================================================================
- limiting, for safety & logistics reasons, the number of bikes involved in the escort from Bethesda.

Riders who stage as noted below will join the in-bound procession at ANC - most likely having pre-staged at graveside.

Stage:     1130 hrs    Iwo Jima Memorial (Marine Corps War Memorial)
Brief:       1145 hrs
Transit:    1200 hrs    to ANC Admin Bldg
Honors:   1300 hrs    Graveside ANC (time approx.)

Ride Captain:  Kevin "rockk" Rock   202-276-6277  cell

Iron Horses preferred, cages welcome as always.
Mounted large flags preferred for transit (furl upon ANC parking).
Large hand-held flags NOT used in ANC for graveside services.
Military mandated ID / gear NOT required for this mission.

Check the weather - dress & hydrate accordingly.

Remember we are here to honor the Hero and  family, friends, and
comrades-in-arms, and to stand tall, silent and proud.  If you cannot
join us, please set aside a moment of silence at the appointed hour,
to reflect on their sacrifice.
