All Members and Friends of the PGR A year has past, we have paid tribute to many brave American Warriors during this past year with all of our missions. Now the season that is so difficult for the families and friends of our fallen is upon us. We must again place the wreaths so that we can ""Remember the fallen, honor those who served or who are serving, and teach everyone that freedom is not free". While I don't have an itinerary as of yet I must ask you, the Patriot Guard Riders, to clear your calendars and attend the wreath laying ceremony to be held at: Ft Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. 12 December 2009 RC: Steve Vassar unionff428@aol.com I plan to ask the organizer to again permit the PGR to place the wreaths at the grave sites of those KIA's from Iraq and Afghanistan. We hold a very short ceremony and present arms as we place each wreath. I will be posting more details as they become available. I hope to see as many of you as possible on Saturday 12 Dec 09. The Patriot Guard Riders will assemble at the memorial site where the ceremony is to take place. Upon entering FTIG Nat Cem TURN LEFT at the Flag Pole (circle of flags) proceed to parking area. Date: 12 Dec 09 Arrive by: 1100 Briefing: 1130 Ceremony: 1200 Wreath Placement following Ceremony: Area 10 PGR shall be responsible for placing wreaths at KIA's, Iraq & Afganistan Bring 3x5 Flags Early arrivals can find food & fuel at Funck's Restaurant, just pass the entrance to FTIG Steve Vassar Sr RC Pa Reg 8
