Karon and I would like to offer our most sincere condolences and prayers to the family and friends of Peter James Gallucci USMC.

Please rest assured that Peter has now reported to his new duty station and, as the last verse of the Marine Corps Hymn says, is now "Guarding The Streets of Heaven".

“If the Army and the Navy ever look on Heaven’s scenes,
they will find the streets are guarded by United States
Marines”.

Rest well my brother Marine.
You are a true hero.

Ride Report: It was a beautiful autumn day, clear and crisp. After completing the Alexander Mission at shelter C almost everyone went to the local Plaid Pantry for a fine lunch of microwave burritos while we waited for the second Mission for Peter Gallucci, my sister's father in law. With more than twenty bikes and a couple of cages you all made me proud by turning out in force to honor this man who richly deserved to be sent off in style, which, with help from all that attended, including the Portland Police Bagpiper's and the military representives, I think we managed to do. The Missing Man formation met the family at the holding area and then led the procession down to Shelter A where a fine looking flag line was in place to greet them all. After the services completed at the shelter PGR faded back to the bikes in a column of twos. I stayed with the family and would like to relay to everyone that attended the many thanks I got for being there for Mr. Gallucci's services. Rest in peace Marine. I will miss your presence here.
