This is the final itinerary for the Patriot Guard Riders mission to honor Johnny Frank Steele, 67, USAF Retired, of Winona, TX, who passed away Saturday, Nov. 7th. His family has requested that the PGR be present at his services. The mission is a 'go' and all contacts have been made.
Mr. Steele joined the Air Force in 1961 and retired in 1981, and during that time worked on the Minute Man Missile System while stationed in Minot, ND.
Services: Tuesday November 10th, 1:30 PM, First Baptist Church, 212 Dallas St., Winona, TX. 75792 Ride Captain: Christina Odom, whatsupdoc@aol.com 903.235.1068
Staging: At the church from Noon–12:40 PM. Riders meeting at 12:45-all new members are requested to sign a PGR Release of Liability prior to setting up the flag line at 1 PM. Please remain flexible as to the requirements of the mission (SEMPER GUMBY).
Weather Report: Sunny and 77 degrees. It should be a great day to ride.
Map Link to Staging Area: http://tinyurl.com/yjo4gtn
ALL GROUPS, CLUBS, INDEPENDENTS, ETC. ARE WELCOME. The only prerequisite is RESPECT. Also remember, you do not have to ride a motorcycle to join in. The flag line is open to all who wish to participate.
Stand tall and silent as you honor this fallen veteran and his family. Please ride/drive safely and defensively. And thanks again for your participation.
