We have been asked by Honor Flights of the Quad Cities, hosting Cedar Rapids and Whiteside County,  to provide up to 20 people to help the WWII Veterans in wheelchairs as their busses arrive and a possible flagline during the morning Send Off.  We have been asked to also provide our normal flaglines during the evening Welcome Home for our WWII Veterans that travelled to Washington DC to visit their memorial.  Our WWII Veterans are disappearing at over 1000 a day, and this is our chance to honor their service to this Great Nation and the freedoms that they put themselves on the line to keep for us.
 
MORNING MISSION:  QC Airport, Moline, IL Tuesday 10 NOV 09
At the airport, we will also help with getting the Vets and Guardians together and ready to go through security prior to setting our flag lines.
Rally Point:  Denny's Restaurant, 2601 52nd Ave, Moline, Il http://tinyurl.com/dgsf98
Rally Time:  0300 hrs., PRB 0415 hrs., KSU immediately to head to the Airport.  
 
EVENING MISSION: QC Airport, Moline, IL Tuesday 10 NOV 09 
We will be putting on a program for the families waiting and forming flaglines to greet our returning WWII Veterans as they disembark and are reunited with family members following a brief return home ceremony.
Rally Point:  McNailer's (MacDonalds) by the QC Airport http://tinyurl.com/cyzeby
Rally Time:  2000 hrs., PRB 2100 hrs., KSU immediately to head to the Airport to establish our flag lines.

It will be my honor once again to help these brave men and women of WWII by doing the send off and WELCOME HOME!

'No Greater Love is this that a man is willing to lay down his life for another.' Only two men were willing to sacrifice their lives for us-Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. Neither of which can ever fully be repaid.

Thank you for your Service and my Freedoms. Your sacrifices will never go unnoticed. I am grateful to live in a country made up of volunteers like you. Your choice to protect our Nation and put your self on the line can never be repaid.
