One of Maryland's Blue Star Moms has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to a special welcome home. She is throwing a Welcome Home Party for her son, a US Marine who recently returned from Iraq.
Ride Captain: Ann & Ted Nettles, anettles1102@gmail.com
Rally Location: Bloomsbury Community Center, Catonsville, MD. 106 Bloomsbury Ave. Catonsville, MD map: http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Catonsville&state=md&address=106+Bloomsbury&zipcode=21228
Rally Time: 1245-1255 hrs. We will depart the rally location promptly at 1300 hrs for a short ride to pick up the honoree and ride with him to the party nearby. US Flags will not be required for this mission. The PGR has been asked to attend the party and share in her joy in his safe return.
For those who cannot make the rally point and would want to meet at the party, please contact the RC or SC for the address.
This is a great opportunity for those who would love to ride but have to work during the week. Make no mistake, this IS one of our happy events!
