WELCOME HOME MISSION
&
ESCORT HOME
269TH MP CO
BACK FROM THE SANDBOX
06, 07 NOV 09

We escorted this unit out at the beginning of this year, shortly after they arrived in the sandbox, while on patrol, a group was ambushed, we lost one, and had others wounded......1LT. William Eric Emmert's parents will be here to welcome home his unit, it's a promise they made to him when he left, and a promise they intend on keeping....  Let's help this Gold Star family Welcome Home These Warriors!

Part I, Welcome Home:

Staging:  Friday, 06 Nov 09, 1830 (6:30p) Fritzhugh Blvd, Smyrna, TN,  2nd parking lot across from MerryMaids.  KSU 1915 (7:15p)

We will head past the guard shack, have ID's available, once we reach the airport, we will make form our flag line on the tarmac, if available line the bikes up also on the tarmac.

Weather:    Friday - Sunny

                  High: 66°

                  Low: 41°

Part II, Escort back to Unit, Murfreesboro:

Staging:  Same location as above, Saturday, 07 Nov 09 at 1200 (noon), KSU approx 1300-1330 (1-1:30p).  THP, Smyrna PD, Murfreesboro PD are notified and standing by to escort these Heroes Home!
