Twelve (12) American Heroes, Riverside National Cemetery, 10 November 2009.

On 10 November 2009, twelve (12) American Heroes will be brought to Riverside National Cemetery from Los Angeles County for burial.

Information on the vets will be updated as soon as the information is available.

This will be a special mission and several riders will be needed for the various phases.

First there will be an escort of at least twelve (12) coaches with our Heroes along with several other military and civilian vehicles. This escort will begin at Oakdale Mortuary in Glendora and will travel to Riverside National Cemetery where Military Honors will be rendered.

Second, riders will be needed to form a flag line at the entrance to Riverside National Cemetery. I am hoping that Dago Larry will take this phase as he has done so competently in the past.

Third, at Riverside National Cemetery, one rider with a large flag will be needed in front of each coach to escort our Hero through the Cemetery to the Medal of Honor plaza.

Fourth, we need a rider with a good speaking voice to read the names and information for each of our Heroes.

A flag line at the Medal of Honor plaza by all riders will be maintained during the period of time that the Heroes will be moved from the coaches to their bier, while Military Honors are rendered and then while they are moved back to their coaches.

Times, routes and other pertinent information will be made available when received. Riverside National Cemetery is expecting the arrival at approximately 1100 hrs.

Please contact me or Gunny with your preferences as to what part of the mission you will want to take part in.

May the souls of these veterans rest in honored peace beneath the carpet of green in a free land that they helped to defend.

God bless these twelve American Heroes. I think my whole family can attend this one. We'll be in a cage and I am not a good speaker, but we can be there to honor those who honored us with their service to protect our country and our freedoms.

Thank you, our Heroes, for your service. May you rest in peace.

Long, long ago a Mother (Mary) asked, "Heavenly Father, why did my Child have to die on a cross outside Jerusalim?" All the answers are so near the same. One died to save our Souls and the others died to protect our Freedoms.
