MISSION UPDATE
We will stage at 1400 (2:00pm) on the SOUTH SIDE of Milton Proby/Drennan about 3/4 mile east of Powers. (This is the Air Cargo road on the south of the main road into the Colorado Springs airport) You will see a set of barricades to your right as you turn onto the air cargo road. We will stage BEHIND those barricades.
Remember that we will be entering an active military installation, so proper riding gear and paperwork is required if you're on 2 or 3 wheels. (See this list if you need more info on ride requirements)
Would appreciate a good turnout for this mission, these soldiers deserve it.

| What a beautiful day to ride, too! I'll be there, but since my tags are expired on my bike (yea, I was lazy about getting them renewed), I'll be in my truck. |

As an FYI to everyone, I've spoken to the facility management and they are not changing any of the access rules based on what happened yesterday at Ft. Hood, so we're all good to go for a "regular" mission. >We will greet the troops as they arrive, will mingle with them as they process, and then will shake their hands and salute them as they head to the plane. This will be a fantastic mission
Oh, and as a bonus treat, during our mission the Army Football team will be arriving, so we'll have the opportunity to greet some West Pointers as they get ready to get defeated by Air Force tomorrow. :) |
