Updated 31 Oct 09 at 2210 EDT by Cagerbob

We will be doing an escort tomorrow, Sunday 11/1/09 for LCpl. Baker and family. However, due to restrictions imposed by LEO we are restricted to the number of bikes allowed in the escort. The time for staging will be at 11:00 am at Monreal Funeral Home with departure at 11:30 am. If you can Definitely make it call me and I will take your name as long as I have room. My phone is 216-228-2624, remember call only if you are able to come.

Please remember to set your clocks back tonight.

Ralph Bago
District #3 Ride Captain

Updated 31 Oct 09 at 0630 EDT by Cagerbob

Due to the large amount of people expected to be at the Church, Law Enforcement is restricting parking and access to the church area streets. You will be able to get to the church for staging and our Flag Line but you may have to park a distance away along a street or parking area, they may  be busing people to the church. Staging is at 10:00 am but be there earlier if possible as this is getting complex.

The staging time for 10/31 for motorcycles escorting from the funeral home has been bumped-up to 8:30AM. Please be on time.

District #3 Ride Captain

Honor Escort Staging:
Church Services Sat. 10/31/09

Staging will be at 9:00 am in the rear of Monreal Funeral Home. This will be M/C's only. We will be leaving at 9:45 am so be on time as there are many units involved in this. We will be traveling on I-90 and the weather is predicting showers so if you are  uncomfortable with riding in the rain at high speed please go to the church and wait for our arrival so as to not impede the Escort.
Those in other vehicles not joining the Escort go to the Church to set up the Flag Line.

Thank you, LCpl. David R. Baker for your service to this Nation. Individuals like you put your life on the line and sacrifice your lives for our freedoms. And it breaks my heart. I pray each day that the Lord our God will provide each and every one of our soldiers an Angel to watch over and protect them. It is the soldier that gives us freedom, not the politicians. Only two people ever died for our freedoms. One was Jesus Christ and the other was the American Soldier. The least I can do is pay homage and respect to this Hero and his family.
A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America “for an amount of up to and including my life.”
That is Honor.
To the family of this American Hero: We as a nation grieve with you in your loss. His adherence to “Duty to God and Country” will not be forgotten. Death is a time to rejoice in the life someone had and the lives they touched on this earth. Life is but a blink of an eye. May the Great Architect take this Hero and his family into his council, protect and heal them.

You don't have to love war, but you do have to love the Warrior!

The sound of 200 people holding flags -- is deafening.
