Vietnam Veterans Moving Wall will be in Owensboro KY on 5- 9 NOV 2009.
We have been asked to escort the wall from Holiday Inn Express 3220 W. Parrish Ave.
(Corner of Parrish Ave & 60 Bypass).
Behind Liquor store.
It will be escorted to Moreland park.
There will be LEO escort.
VFW is looking for 100 or more bikes to escort.
Staging is 8:00 am.
KSU at 9:00 am.
Patriot Guard Riders, 2nd Brigade & Rolling Thunder are in on the escort.
I need a Ride Capt. for this if anyone can volunteer as I will be working & cannot take off.
Opening ceremony will be on 5 - NOV at 3:00 pm.
Closing ceremony will be on 9 - NOV at 4:00 pm.
If anyone can help set up, or volunteer to help people find names on wall & to make sure no one damages the wall (this needs volunteers 24 hours a day) it would be most appreciated. It will most likely be 2 person shifts lasting 4 hours each.
There will be food & drinks & a few cots for late night shift's.
Im also looking for anyone that has been involved with the candlelight ceremonys on closing day or maybe we could set up for night before.
Get back to me & I will let you know on meeting nights to present candlelight know how.

I will be stopping by nightly for a lil while & will be there most of weekend.
I actually cant make escort as I have to work.
