WELCOME HOME MISSION

1/24TH MARINES

PERRYSBURG, OHIO

The 1/24th Marines (Weapons Company) will be returning from a deployment in support of the current conflict in Iraq.

The Marines will be coming home on 06 September 2009 and flying in at Selfridge AGB in Michigan. The Michigan PGR will escort the other companies to their home towns.

We will escort Weapons Company out of Perrysburg, Ohio from Selfridge AGB,

There will be an additional area where we will pick up riders in Ohio.

I am working with the Michigan PGR and will have all info regarding this welcome home soon.

If you wish to ride up to and onto Selfridge AGB, SARGE needs your name as it appears on your Drivers License for security purposes no later than 31 August 09.

To ride onto the base, you will need a DOT Helmet, reflective vest, boots, long Sleeve Shirt or jacket, full finger gloves and pants (NO SHORTS).

Staging location and times will be posted when known.

District 1 Ride Captain Frank "Sarge" Harris (sgtflh@yahoo.com) is assigned this Welcome Home Mission. Please follow his instructions. Remember to bring your 3x5 Flags.  Stand with a slight bend at the knees and stay hydrated.
