Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mikey Hines, Vietnam Veteran. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. He is one of America's Heroes that will never be forgotten.

Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Mikey.

Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.

Morning Star lights the way;
Restless dream all done;
Shadows gone, break of day,
Life has just begun.
Every tear wiped away,
Pain and sickness gone;
Wide awake there with Him!
Peace goes on and on!
Going home, going home,
I'll be going home.
See the Light! See the Sun!
I'm just going home.

Thank you for your service Mr Hines. May you rest in peace.

“Some people’s lives can truly make a difference however long or short their lives on earth. They give the gifts of kindness and of caring. They sow the seeds of friendship and self-worth. Some people’s lives are beautiful examples of putting others first, and when they are gone, the lives of those they touched are so much richer, and the love they shared lives on and on.”

MISSION COMPLETE. There were a large number of PGR and other riders attending the mission for U.S.Army Airborne Ranger, Veteran of the Vietnam War , Michael Hines in Ft. Smith.AR today. A flag line prior to the funeral service was placed around the entrance at Fentress Funeral Home as family and friends arrived. PGR and other riders escorted the family to Ft. Smith National Cemetery for the ceremony there. U.S Army , Marine Corp League , Veterans of Foreign Wars and PGR flag line rendered honors there , and presented the U.S. Flag to his wife. I want to thank all who endured 100 degree plus heat index temperatures to render those honors. Thank you who traveled long distances to honor this Veteran and his family in the manner of Patriot Guard Riders.

I would like to offer special cudos to Mr.'s Baily & Cox for their fine performance today. It was a heart rendering, reverant and respectful showing of our gratitude for this fallen soldier. It was performed with grace and class as if they'd done it many times...a job well done guys... I'm proud of you and enjoyed it very much...I was really moved. I think it would be a welcome addition to incorporate this display as part and parcel of our mission. But that would be up to greater minds than mine. :-) Again... thank you...well done...Rooster
