******MISSION COMPLETE, ARKANSAS PORTION******
The PGR escorted the soldiers of the 90th SUS BDE from their farewell ceremony at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock to their first scheduled stop enroute to their final destination. A dozen riders commenced the ride and were augmented by riders at the second and third staging points. The complexity of the mission was never apparant, due largely to the efforts of our RC's Ron Shaw and Don Nix. They conducted alot of legwork and coordination with LEO's that made this mission a success. Don also coordinated the pass off to TX PGR for the continuation of the mission. It is my understanding that the TX PGR were in need of a good bath so they took it during their portion of the escort....
I will surely leave out someone that had a role in the success of this mission, but I will try to list as many as I can:
Arrow Coach Lines for their cooperation and close coordination. Little Rock Police Dept. Traffic/Motors Division. Outstanding job! Pulaski Co. Sheriffs Office who not only supported the troop procession out of the County, they also escorted the families of these soldiers, from 25 different states, back to LRNAP from the convention center for their return home. THANK YOU!
A huge thanks to each of these LEO's for their support along the route:
Saline Co. SO Hot Spring Co. SO Clark Co. SO Nevada Co. SO Hempstead Co. SO Miller Co. SO Texarkana AR PD Texarkana TX PD Bowie Co. SO
Hats off and a high salute to ALL of the PGR members who supported this mission, and endured the extremes of the weather and hazards of the road to honor these fine soldiers, as they deploy in defense of our freedom.
TO THE SOLDIERS OF THE 90TH SUSTAINMENT BRIGADE,
THANK YOU for your service in defense of our freedom. We pray for your safety and for your safe and sure return. GODSPEED!

My son was on bus #2. This is the first time in his 4 deployments, that he was a part of a larger Brigade leaving. I cannot thank the PGR for ALL the effort and time they put into this. For anyone who was fortunate enough to see it, or be a part of it, your heart as mine did would have swelled with so much PRIDE for those on the bus, and THOSE OUT FRONT!!!!.
I have heard from some of the troops on those buses, and I cannot begin to tell you how great you made THEM feel with you out there leading the way to their destination. The rest stop for lunch in Texarkana was outstanding and a tremendous thanks to the restaurant that set up for those men!!!.
I know about the shower you are talking about that they rode thru. In the middle of it, my son called me from Bus #2, and said, "Mom, it's pouring outside, and has been for a while, and can you believe it, the PGR didn't pull off not a one!!! they rode like the sun was shining brightly, right out in front of us.!!!.
It simply does NOT get any better than that!!!.
Thank you PGR, from the very bottom of my heart!!!.
