Patriot Guard Riders
This is the Confirmed Mission Order to honor Mr. Edwin D. Kessler, USCG and Master Trooper of the Virginia State Police Department.

All contacts have been made and this mission is a GO, we have been graciously invited by his Son on behalf of the family of Master Trooper Kessler.
Sunday, July 12th, 2009 at Colonial Funeral Home
1515 Church St.  Smithfield, VA 23430

This will be an Honor Flag Line only. The family will be escorted by Virginia State Troopers.

Mission brief at the funeral home will start promptly at 12:45 pm to be in place on the flag line NLT 1:15 pm. The PGR will stand in silent honor for the arrival of the family and then for visitation and services to commence at 2:00 pm utilizing a 15 minute rotation and re-forming the flag line upon the family’s departure.
Upon conclusion, PGR will debrief and dismiss from this site.

Weather Forecast:
The forecast for Sunday is Partly Sunny with high of 93;
possibility of scattered  T-showers - 40% precipitation.
UV index 9 very high,  60% humidity.

Dress accordingly. Pack your rain gear if so inclined.
Bring sun screen /water. It is important that you stay well hydrated.
Bring your 3x5 flags.
We will adhere to proper flag etiquette at all times.

Rally Point:
Rally point for Southside members if you wish, will be at the VDOT Park & Ride.
Reon Rd. and Indian River Rd., Virginia Beach. Leaving promptly at 11:00 am for the 45 minute transit to Smithfield.

Times and address are pending and will be updated as soon as the information is provided.
