To her loving parents and family and friends of Leah Witting, 31, United States Air Force Veteran and Patriot Guard Rider Sister/ Member, Redding CA . The entire Patriot Guard joins me in sending you our deepest sympathies and understanding during this period of bereavement on this Special Independence Day Week. Thank you Leah for your selfless courage, love and loyal service to this Great Nation and to the Greatest Air Force in the world .Thank you for defending the freedoms and liberties of this great nation we call America and answering the call to duty. We will not forget the sacrifices you made to protect our freedom and way of life. Thank you to her parents for raising such a Patriot who wanted to serve her nation and her people. In our eyes and in the eyes of her fellow riders , Leah, is a True American Patriot . A Patriot in her bedrock values and quiet virtues , they represent the very best of what it means to be a American Patriot . Leah's dedication and devotion to honor and shield the families of...... Fallen American Hero's... and their families in a flag line as a Patriot Guard Rider has made a bold statement about her patriotism and we thank her. No amount of words or condolences can adequately compensate your family and friends for the deep loss they have suffered, but nonetheless we the Patriot Guard Riders extend our support and solidarity to them in this time of trial and tragedy. Leah was a true patriot who loved her country so much that she joined the United States Air Force and Patriot Guard Riders , like all riders she was prepared to sacrifice her time for Fallen American Hero's and their families of her beloved country of ..."The United States Of America"... to make sure they received the...... Respect ......they so richly deserve. ......"If a person gives you his/her time, he/she can give you.. "no more precious gift”.. Life is precious. And with every beat of our hearts, each of us leaves an indelible impression on the world and the lives around us. As you mourn the loss Leah, and celebrate her Eternal Gain, and reflect on the impact of both, know that you are strong and that you are surrounded by many who appreciate you and the impression she left. May God bless Leah in death as he blessed her in life and may her light of love and devotion of duty continue to shine in our PGR Organization and Country .There is a light in this world, a healing spirit more powerful than any darkness we may encounter. We sometimes lose sight of this force when there is suffering, and too much pain. Then suddenly, the spirit will emerge through the lives of ordinary people who hear a call and answer in extraordinary ways . You are our most.....Precious National Treasure!..... You are the true light of this country, you are the glue that binds us ,you are our angel of freedom and our wings of protection. Rest assured, you "WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN"! To her family, during this difficult time, I know you will draw upon your own strength and the strength of loved ones that hold you in their thoughts. Remember this country is filled with people who care about you and are thinking about you in this difficult time of sorrow...Your loss is our loss and resonates through the Patriot Guard Riders. Why do they come.. They don't even know him.. Yet they stand for hours.. In the cold.. In the heat.. In the rain.. In the snow.. They never ask for a thing in return.. But yet they receive so much.. Many are veterans.. Many are not.. Why do they care.. They stand in silence.. They stand with tears in their eyes.. They stand for a fallen hero.. They stand because they care.. They stand in respect.. They stand in honor.. They stand because they must.. They stand because it is their duty.. Their duty to the fallen.. Their duty to their country.. Their duty to the grieving family.. And their duty to themselves.. They are the Patriot Guard Riders.. And they will stand until someone stands for them
