Cheryl Ann Kleinschmidt

Cheryl Ann Kleinschmidt, passed away at her home Sunday, June 7, 2009.  We have been asked by her husband Mike to join in the memorial celebration of Cheryl’s life. 

Cheryl was born and raised in Merrill and served in the U.S. Army for four years, graduating in only the second class of women to serve in the infantry at a time when few women served in the military. She served her country while stationed at Fort Huachuca, AZ., where she adopted a love and fondness for the desert; later serving in Bamberg, Germany, a time she would often recall as one of the best times in her life.
