The family of Charles "Charlie" McDaniel has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to show Honor, Respect, and Gratitude for his service to this Nation by participating in his visitation, funeral, and interment services.  He is a US Navy Veteran serving in Vietnam on the USS Constellation and USS Enterprise.
 
Visitation and Memorial Services will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, 217 N. Plum St, Havana, IL.  The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, 17 Mar 09.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00pm Monday, 16 Mar.
 
At the conclusion of the Funeral Service we will escort Charlie and his family and friends to his final resting place in Bath Cemetery, Bath, IL.  This will be about a 10 Mile ride.
 
 
Visitation:
Staging Location:  McDonalds, 270 E. Dearborn St, Havana, IL
Staging time:  3:45pm - 4:15pm
Briefing:  4:20pm
KSU:  4:30pm.  We will establish our Flag line by 4:45 for the arrival of the family.
 
Funeral/Interment:
Staging Location:  McDonalds, 270 E. Dearborn St, Havana, IL
Staging time:  7:45am - 8:15am
Briefing:  8:20am
KSU:  8:30am.  We will establish our Flag line by 8:45 for the arrival of the family.

Sincere condolences to the family and friends of USN Vietnam Veteran Charles McDaniel.

'No Greater Love is this that a man is willing to lay down his life for another.' Only two men were willing to sacrifice their lives for us-Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. Neither of which can ever fully be repaid.

Thank you for your Service and my Freedoms. Your sacrifices will never go unnoticed. I am grateful to live in a country made up of volunteers like you. Your choice to protect our Nation and put your self on the line can never be repaid.

Thank You to a true hero who answered the call to duty, performing the selfless act of giving of oneself to serve their country. Thank You. THANK YOU.
